Uberti 1858 Buffalo Bill Centennial New Army 44 Revolver 8″ Barrel
To honor Buffalo Bill’s Centennial, Uberti produced this fully engraved version of his 1858 Remington revolver. Only 500 were made made available of this 2017 exclusive; make sure you don’t miss out.
All outside metal elements have been lavishly engraved by the atelier of Master Cesare Giovanelli, a name of the greatest renown in the world of premium firearms.
Though many percussion revolvers were on the market before during and after the Civil War, no firearm offered such a challenge to the dominant Colt revolvers as did the 1858 Remington. This revolver was produced in both .36 caliber (Navy) and in the more popular .44 caliber. It has been said that soldiers of the Civil War not only preferred it by far as their choice of sidearm but would actually trade a handful of Colts for one Remington New Army.
“It never failed me.” These were the words with which Buffalo Bill described his beloved 1858 revolver, which he used in his Indian fighting and buffalo hunting heyday.
