Schmidt & Bender 1-8×24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC MDR 1cm cw ST MTC LT / ST ZC LT

The combination of red dot and riflescope
The 1-8×24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC combines the features of a red dot sight and a riflescope. It can be used at short to medium distances and from assault to DMR rifles – so for dynamic and static shooting alike. It won the German Armed Forces tender “G28 Patrol” back in 2016 and more than 2,700 units were delivered in 2019 to the French Armed Forces for the new “FPSA” semi-automatic sniper rifle. Since then, the 1-8×24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC is in use by other NATO countries, US military special forces and Anti-Terror units. The compact riflescope enables fast and reliable target acquisition due to a large exit pupil/eye box. The patented CC-Mode ensures a parallax-free shot at close distances. Beyond CC-Mode, it allows parallax-free shooting at 100 m or upon request also at 300 m. With an optical resolution of eight angular seconds at 8x magnification, it pushes the technical limits and offers a detailed and clear image. The robust construction withstands extreme treatment such as the ‘Six Orientation Drop Test’ or shock tests with thousand-fold g-forces. Use in climate zone C2 (-46°C) is possible without any problems. The tactical reticle in the first focal plane or the lockable, ultra low profile turrets with MTC or ZC function can be used for bullet drop or side wind corrections.
Schmidt Bender’s PM II 1-8×24 ShortDot Dual CC riflescope represents the pinnacle of modern combat scope technology. The scope features true 1x low magnification (also known as close combat mode) for fast target acquisition in close quarters and 8x high magnification for easily engaging targets out to 500 yards. At low magnification the scope is parallax free to 7 meters and is parallax free out to 100 meters when magnification is increased.
The primary feature of the 1-8×24 ShortDot Dual CC riflescope is the dual focal plane reticles, the FlashDot red dot is located on the second focal plane allowing for a consistent dot size cross all magnifications, while the MilDot reticle sits on the first focal plane helping you make more accurate shots at longer ranges.
