KA-BAR Short Tanto Serrated Fixed Blade Knife
The Tanto blade shape, of Asian influence, has a thick pointed blade that’s rugged enough for the most difficult tasks. A partially serrated edge makes cutting looped and synthetic materials a breeze. Leather sheath included.
The Black handle on the Short Black Tanto KA-BAR® is made from Kraton G®. Referred to simply as Kraton, it is a synthetic rubber that can be molded into knife handles. Kraton provides a non-slip grip.
The Fixed Blade on the Short Black Tanto KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Hollow grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Tanto shaped blade is 5.25 inches long and is stamped with “USA”.
With its partially serrated edge the Short Black Tanto KA-BAR® is perfect for cutting looped and synthetic materials.
Included with the Short Black Tanto KA-BAR® is a Black Leather sheath with KA-BAR stamped on it.This sheath Fits most KA-BAR Knives with 5 1/4 inch blades.This Black Leather sheath is made in Mexico.
