KA-BAR D2 Extreme Straight Edge Fixed Blade Knife
Cutting tests prove that D2 is one of the toughest steels used in knife making. Featured here in the classic clip-point blade shape that made KA-BAR famous. The serrated edge makes it better cut synthetic and looped materials. Complete with hard plastic KA-BAR Sheath.
The Black handle on the D2 Extreme KA-BAR® is made from Kraton G®. Referred to simply as Kraton, it is a synthetic rubber that can be molded into knife handles. Kraton provides a non-slip grip.
D2 Steel Blade (HRC 59-60)
The D2 Knives are named after the blades material: D2 steel Blade. D2 blades are one of the strongest in the business.
Included with the KA-BAR D2 Extreme Knife is a Black Cordura sheath. The belt loop on the sheath easily attaches to any standards belt. A button snap around the handle holds the machete securely in place when it is sheathed.
