Description
Benchmade Intersect | Depth Blue | Drop-Point
Handle:Santoprene®.Blade:CPM-MagnaCut Stainless Steel (60-62 HRC).
With a mission to make the incredibly versatile Intersect™ somehow more useful, we took a look at its nimble 2.75” drop-point blade. Certainly anglers, or any other adventurists, could use a variant with “teeth,” i.e., a serrated blade that cuts through tougher line and ropes caused by wet conditions. Presto: The new 18050S Intersect™, the same minimalist, tough-as-nails cutting tool built for convenient and quick access when seconds matter. An EDC ideally compact for the finer tasks like bait prep and rig setup, the 18050S is complete with handle and spine jimping for secure grip and pinch cuts, featuring a quick mount sheath that attaches to pockets, belts, backpacks, waders and beyond. Minimalist utility — now, with a serrated edge on the competition.

FEATURES :
- Drop-point Serrated
- Drops off the spine to the tip. Tip height is typically below the center line on the blade.
- CPM-Magnacut
- A new approach to stainless tool steel that eliminates chromium carbides from the microstructure. The result: a combination of properties with similar toughness and edge retention to non-stainless steels like CPM-CruWear and CPM-4V, with the addition of excellent corrosion resistance and strength.
- Santoprene handle
- A composite of vulcanized EPDM rubber and thermoplastic, this durable, molded material provides a sure grip in all conditions.
- Fixed
- These knives do not fold and typically include a sheath to protect the edge

Proper care and regular maintenance help make your Benchmade knife yours, for life. Here are some tips for keeping your Benchmade in peak condition:
• Prevent Rust: All steels, regardless of grade or price, can eventually rust. To avoid corrosion, always keep your knife clean, dry, and lightly lubricated. If rust or spotting appears, a quality semi-chrome metal polish can usually restore the finish.
• Hand-Wash Only: Always hand-wash your knife with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly.
• Use as Intended: Benchmade knives are precision cutting tools. Do not use your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch—unless specifically designed for those functions.
• Sharpen with Care: If sharpening at home, avoid grinding wheels and high-speed machinery, as they can damage the blade. Use appropriate hand-sharpening methods for best results.
• Tighten Hardware: Over time, handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws may loosen. Use T6 and T10 Torx drivers for adjustments and apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker to maintain secure fittings.
