The Holosun ARO-EVO-RD2 is the next generation in the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) EVOlved. Engineered for shooters seeking enhanced performance, durability, and versatility. Featuring a larger 26mm optical window, the ARO-EVO-RD2 delivers an expanded field of view, offering greater situational awareness and faster target acquisition for dynamic shooting environments with a crisp 2 MOA Red Dot.

This optic integrates Holosun’s Shake Awake™ technology, ensuring it’s always ready when you are by detecting motion to activate and conserving battery life when idle. The side-loading CR2032 battery tray makes replacements quick and easy, while the optic delivers an impressive up to 50,000 hours of battery life on setting 6. Manual brightness controls, automatic brightness adjustment, solar failsafe, and lockout mode provide intuitive operation and adaptability for changing light conditions.

The ARO-EVO-RD2 also includes both a 1.63″ lower 1/3 co-witness mount and a 1.05″ low mount for compatibility with a wide range of platforms and Holosun magnifiers. Housed in hard anodized 6061 aluminum and rated IPX8 waterproof, it’s built to withstand the elements and harsh recoil environments.

Holosun’s use of Grade 5 Titanium in certain Elite category optics and laser devices results in unparalleled strength and durability. Holosun Grade 5 Titanium has more than double the tensile strength and has five-times the fatigue strength of 7075 Aluminum. Grade 5 Titanium is also able to withstand the corrosiveness of seawater making Holosun Titanium model optics and lasers suitable for use in maritime environments.

Shake Awake™

Shake Awake Technology is a standard feature on all current model Holosun optics and serves to extend battery life by deactivating the optic’s LED while not in use. A highly sensitive motion sensor works to detect motion keeping the LED powered on during use. This allows for duty or concealed carry with seamless operation throughout your day or shift. At the end of your day or shift when your firearm is stored, the motion sensor will detect a motionlessness state and after 10 minutes (default setting) Shake Awake Technology powers the LED off until motion is again detected. Shake Awake offers settings from 10 minutes to 12 hours depending on the model and can be deactivated altogether if preferred. The slightest touch of the optic instantly reactivates the LED so your Holosun optic is ready when needed.
