The roots of the Browning BAR run deep, tracing its history back to John M. Browning’s original design for the U.S. military during the First World War. These legendary firearms earned an amazing service record, being used even into the early days of the Vietnam War.
This special model follows in the footsteps of our other guns that share the “Speed” moniker. Every Speed firearm is built to be more concealable, durable, and lighter, making them the perfect tools for serious hunters and shooters who need gear as lean and tough as they are.
The composite stock features Browning OVIX camouflage, overmolded gripping surfaces, and a raised SoftFlex™ cheekpad, giving hunters every advantage in the field.
A fluted barrel provides an excellent combination of lightweight design and exceptional accuracy. Additionally, the Smoked Bronze Cerakote® finish protects better than traditional bluing.
The gas-operated autoloader features a robust, rotating bolt that secures itself within the barrel. Furthermore, the rifle’s durable action bar/inertia block connection minimizes barrel vibrations, enhancing overall accuracy.
