BERGARA CURE® CARBON BARREL

The perfect mating of carbon and steel. Bergara cured the carbon barrel problem of inconsistency by getting steel and carbon to perfectly work together by managing heat. CURE® Barrels are uniquely optimized both mechanically and thermodynamically via a proprietary, patent pending, carbon weave with embedded stainless strands that move heat. Every aspect of the design was optimized to yield an ultralight, stiff, straight, rugged barrel, shot after shot.

BERGARA PREMIER ACTION

Two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, and the bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability, as well as its self-lubricating properties.

The XLR Element 4.0 Magnesium chassis as an ultra-lightweight modular hunting rifle chassis designed for the backcountry hunter. Configured with a carbon fiber folding buttstock and carbon fiber grip, the system weight is just 28 oz. This ultralight configuration is the first rifle chassis system in the world to weigh under 2 lbs! The MgLite features a built-in bubble level, and machined in RRS 1.5″ dovetail (Arca-Swiss) in the forend.
