Description
Benchmade Adira | Depth Blue | Drop-Point Serrated
Handle:Grivory®. Blade:MagnaCut Stainless Steel (60-62 HRC).
Whether working on a boat or in and around the water, one thing you notice about rope and line, is that when it gets wet — it’s significantly harder to cut. That’s where the saw-like “bite” of a serrated blade comes in handy, and precisely why we’ve updated the 18060S Adira™’s full-size 3.6” drop-point blade made of CPM-MagnaCut stainless steel with serrations. Our heavy-use aquatic folder built for any task, no matter the elements, the 18060S has the same corrosion resistant AXIS® lock mechanism with stainless springs, and hi-vis colored details with a useful orange lanyard, but beyond cutting line, excels in bait prep to scaling small fish. A true waterman’s EDC, built to support your outdoor work and passions.

FEATURES :
- Drop-point Serrated
- Drops off the spine to the tip. Tip height is typically below the center line on the blade.
- CPM-Magnacut
- A new approach to stainless tool steel that eliminates chromium carbides from the microstructure. The result: a combination of properties with similar toughness and edge retention to non-stainless steels like CPM-CruWear and CPM-4V, with the addition of excellent corrosion resistance and strength.
- Grivory handle
- Glass-filled thermoplastic composite is known for being extremely light and durable. Widely used for automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications.
- Axis Lock
- Manually opened knives must be opened 100% from the closed position to the open position by the user.

Proper care and regular maintenance help make your Benchmade knife yours, for life. Here are some tips for keeping your Benchmade in peak condition:
• Prevent Rust: All steels, regardless of grade or price, can eventually rust. To avoid corrosion, always keep your knife clean, dry, and lightly lubricated. If rust or spotting appears, a quality semi-chrome metal polish can usually restore the finish.
• Hand-Wash Only: Always hand-wash your knife with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly.
• Use as Intended: Benchmade knives are precision cutting tools. Do not use your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch—unless specifically designed for those functions.
• Sharpen with Care: If sharpening at home, avoid grinding wheels and high-speed machinery, as they can damage the blade. Use appropriate hand-sharpening methods for best results.
• Tighten Hardware: Over time, handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws may loosen. Use T6 and T10 Torx drivers for adjustments and apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker to maintain secure fittings.
