Q: How many locations does Tenda have?
A: We only have one store location at Unit 10, 250 West Beaver Creek Rd, Richmond Hill, ON, L4B1C7.
Q: Is Vikings Outdoor/Tenda Tackle Store affiliated with Tenda Canada?
A: Yes, before it was named Tenda Tackle Store, our fishing store was named Vikings Outdoor. Tenda Tackle Store is officially a sister company of Tenda Canada.
Q: What are your regular business store hours and holiday hours?
A: Please kindly visit our “Contact Us” webpage (https://www.gotenda.com/contact-us/) for accurate store hours and holiday schedules.
Q: Are children and pets allowed in the store?
A: Absolutely! We’re happy to welcome both children and pets.
Q: Do you guys have a gun range at your location?
A: No, we do not have a gun range on-site.
Orders & Shipping
Q: Do you ship elsewhere other than Canada?
A: We only service in Canada.
Q: Can I have gun powder shipped to me?
A:Yes. Gun powder requires special handling and shipping arrangements. If you would like to have gun powder shipped, please select “In-Stock Pick Up” at checkout and enter the Tenda Canada Ontario location address as the pickup address. Once your order has been received, our Shipping Department will contact you by email with further shipping instructions and a shipping quote. Please ensure the email address associated with your order is correct and check your inbox, including your spam/junk folder, for our shipping team’s message.
Q: What’s the turn around time for shipping?
A: We try our very best to process and complete orders within 2–4 business days. Shipping time is not included in this and will depend on which province you reside in. Delays may occur due to error in information provided or missing information.
Q: What couriers do you use to ship orders?
A: We use UPS, Canada Post, and Purolator.
UPS: Firearms & ammunition
Purolator: Ammunition only
Canada Post: Firearms only, or addresses with a PO Box
Q: Why am I asked to be charged additional fees for shipping when it states “Free Shipping”?
A: As stated on the final checkout page, any overweight, oversized, remote, or extended area fees will not be covered by us. Customers will be notified with a separate quote from the shipping department, regardless if the order is qualified for free shipping. The basic shipping cost will still be covered for orders qualifying for free shipping.
Q: Why am I asked for picture documents for shipping of an order with a non-restricted firearm?
A: Due to the May 18th 2022 OIC change for non-restricted firearm purchases online, you will need to provide a picture of your valid Firearm License (PAL) and a secondary valid Government-issued ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Health Card). Without this, we are unable to process the order and the order will have delays.
Pricing, Discounts & Payment
Q: Do you have special discounts or promo codes?
A: Unfortunately, all pricing available on the website is the active pricing.
Q: Do you offer any Law Enforcement or Military Discount?
A: Yes, we do. We have a program for LEAF members: 5% off on accessories and gear only. Firearms and ammunition are not included. For online orders, the 5% discount will be issued back as store credit only.
Q: What payment method do you accept online and in-store?
A: Online: Visa, Mastercard
In-store: Cash, debit, credit, Amex, and gift cards
Purchasing & Product Availability
Q: Do you offer layaway or buy now pay later services?
A: We do not have this option at this current time.
Q: Do you do any product holdings for customers?
A: We do not hold products for customers. To secure items (especially if stock is low or price is good), the best way is to place the order online.
Q: Does Tenda purchase used firearms?
A: No, we do not purchase directly from customers. However, we offer Consignment services for customers local to Ontario. Details are discussed in-store with front staff.
