The .30-06 is probably the most popular universal calibre, which has certainly killed all kinds of game on earth.

The effective range of this cartridge, which can be equipped with RWS bullets from 9.7 g up to 13.0 g, is approximately 300 m.

The cartridge was developed in 1903 and received its final dimensions in 1906, the year it was also introduced as the ordinance cartridge in the USA (“Ball Cartridge, Caliber .30, Model of 1906”). The cartridge fast became very popular as hunting and sport-shooting cartridge.

The .30-06 Springfield can also be shot well by recoil-sensitive shooters.
